I love near-infrared sauna therapy. Near-infrared therapy is great for neurodegenerative conditions like migraine.  When I lived in Portland, I used to rent one by the hour, a model from SaunaSpace.  The unit costs $3,000, and the lightbox panel costs $1,000.  Rather than save this kind of money, I decided to construct my own light panel.  Here’s how I did it – and all for $90. I hope you enjoy learning how to make your own DIY near-infrared sauna as much as I did!

Note that this sauna panel still needs a tent to sweat in if you are going for sweating as a therapy and not just light therapy.
