Most migraineurs have thyroid imbalances, some degree of anemia, occasionally candida overload, food sensitivities, weak stomach acid, low blood pressure and/or issues with adrenal health and kidney filtration. All of these issues can be monitored at home through self-assessments.

With these self-assessments, you can get a better sense for some of your health metrics that you can track without fancy and expensive labwork. Some of these assessments are more crude than others, but in totality they represent valuable tools at your disposal for evaluating your health status as it changes over time.

Get a notebook and test some of these markers to see where you fall, and continue to test throughout your healing journey to see that you’re making progress. It is also a good idea to get a good baseline test, and see what happens to your assessment when you are having a migraine (as comparison), and how they change as you progress on your healing journey.
