All good research starts with curiosity and asking questions.  One question that came to mind for me recently is this: If people with migraine generally have compromised detoxification pathways, what role could these pathways be playing (if any) in their insomnia?

For those of you unfamiliar with my approach to migraine, supporting “glucuronidation”, which is a phase 2 liver detoxification pathway, is one key part of my approach. Glucuronidation is supported by way of healing the gut and providing the body with the nutrient cofactors it needs to neutralize and excrete toxins, which happens in the liver.
